XIMO!....Super Safe and Effective!

Several years of intense research has led me to a new fat loss agent that is not only highly unique but also extremely powerful. The name of the compound is Octopamine HCl...also known as Norsynephrine HCl.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By: Derek Cornelius

A cursory look at the title and one might come to the conclusion that this article is about fat loss for octopi or possibly even arachnids (spiders for those not well versed in entomology). If we were reading the American Journal for Invertebrate Sciences, the subject of fat loss in these animals might actually be an interesting topic.

However, for the audience at hand it would be dull and quite boring. Now that you are relieved, let me explain what this article is really about. Several years of intense research has led me to a new fat loss agent that is not only highly unique but also extremely powerful. The name of the compound is Octopamine HCl...also known as Norsynephrine HCl.

Interestingly, the name Octopamine is derivatized from the word Octopus. This is not surprising since Octopamine was first found in this highly advanced invertebrate. In this article, we will look in detail at this wondrous new compound, examining its EIGHT LEGS or aspects which instilled in me so much excitement.

Leg 1

The most prominent leg of this interesting compound is that it is a naturally occurring beta3 adrenergic agonist. Significantly, octopamine is the only chemical entity known that is both naturally occurring AND which potently binds and activates the beta3 receptor. Adrenergic receptors come in many different forms and flavors.

There are both alpha and beta receptors. Within these two categories, there are alpha1 and alpha2 receptors and beta1, beta2 and beta3 receptors. Some researchers even believe there to be a beta4 receptor. Most of these receptors are integrally involved in the physiological processes of fat metabolism...both catabolic and anabolic processes.

Ephedra or ephedrine-type alkaloids are indirect adrenergic agonists. Although they don't strongly activate these receptors directly, they increase the release of adrenaline-type alkaloids which strongly activate ALL of these receptors. Both the positive and negative effects of ephedra are due to all of these adrenergic receptors being activated.

Fortunately, the beta3 receptor is responsible for a host of positive benefits without one reported negative side effect. Many researchers believe that beta3 receptors hold the key to truly safe and effective long term fat loss. It is for this reason that pharmaceutical companies have invested millions of dollars into this technology.

Leg 2

Beta3 receptors are extremely abundant in rodents and therefore cause dramatic weight loss in these creatures. However, in humans they are much scarcer. It might be easy to predict then that beta3 adrenergic agonists would be without significant effect in humans. Although beta 3 agonists do not cause a proportional response in humans, respected published research, as well as my own experiments on octopamine HCl, confirm the fact that beta 3 agonists are effective tools for a human's fat loss program.

It affects adipose tissue in two different ways. Firstly, there are beta3 adrenergic receptors in white adipose tissue. These receptors when stimulated directly cause fatty acids to be released from the adipose tissue and burned. Less fatty acids in the adipose tissue equals smaller adipose tissue. Although not as widely understood, there is another type of adipose tissue in the human body called brown fat.

Brown Fat

Unlike white adipose tissue which does not contain blood vessels which carry red blood cells, brown fat has red blood cell-carrying capillaries and thus has a reddish-brown hue to it... and thus the name. Also unlike white adipose tissue which is just a storage organ, brown fat behaves like an active organ and has an integral role in the body's overall metabolic rate.

Fortunately, octopamine HCl stimulates the brown fat to become bigger and more active thus increasing the body's overall metabolic rate. In turn, this means more calories burned and more adipose tissue lost.

Leg 3

The third leg of this unusual beast is octopamine HCl's ability to improve insulin sensitivity. This is a huge plus since increased insulin sensitivity not only improves one's fat loss efforts but also induces a myriad of other healthy benefits including preventing and treating diabetes, lowering cholesterol and having more strength and energy.

For those people taking alpha-lipoic acid to increase their insulin sensitivity, octopamine HCl could be a major breakthrough. Imagine obtaining the effects of alpha-lipoic acid while at the same time losing significant weight and feeling better. If a person is already taking alpha-lipoic acid, he might rightly stop taking this supplement while dosing with octopamine HCl... a wonderful money-saving feature of taking this eight legged supplement!

Leg 4

One of my favorite aspects of this compound is its awesome safety profile. At this time, when ephedra based products are taking so much heat for their purported health risks, it is comforting to know that there is a compound for fat loss that is not only highly effective but also is very safe.

Although ephedra has cardiovascular side effects such as increased heart rate and increased blood pressure, octopamine HCl has none of these potentially negative consequences. In fact, studies show that octopamine HCl has the distinct ability to SLIGHTLY lower blood pressure. Furthermore, octopamine has been shown to have the potential to protect and benefit a person's gut function and structure.

Leg 5

Although some people see it is a beneficial side effect, the majority of people do not like ephedra's ability to cause nervousness or jitteriness. Since beta3 receptors are not involved in any process which is linked to these phenomena, octopamine is truly considered a non-stimulant dietary supplement. This is good news for the multitude of people who dislike or cannot take stimulant based products.

Leg 6

One of the most significant features of this eight legged monster is its ability to halt catabolism of proteinaceous tissues. It is very important while losing weight to maximize adipose loss while minimizing the loss of muscle and other lean body tissue. It does little good to lose 20 pounds of weight but to have 18 of these pounds lost from muscle tissue.

This will do nothing but make a person "skinnyfat". Skinnyfat is a term used for a person that has a disproportionate amount of bodyfat to muscle mass. It is a person that looks skinny but still has a high percentage of fat on their body. Octopamine solves this problem by allowing a person to selectively lose adipose tissue while effectively halting the catabolic processes which deplete muscle and organ tissues.

Its anticatabolic effect is so powerful that pharmaceutical companies have invested large sums of money to document the anticatabolic effect of octopamine on growth rate and meat quality of pigs.

Leg 7

One of the things that I like best about Octopamine HCl is its resistance to downregulation. Whether it be ephedra, fenfluramine, amphetamines, etc, nearly all weight loss agents lose their effectiveness over time. Usually, this effect is quite rapid so that several month's of use dramatically decrease the effectiveness of that particular agent.

On the contrary, beta3 receptors have a great resistance to downregulation and thus a person could take a beta3 receptor agonist like octopamine for extended periods of time without losing its wonderful benefits.

Leg 8

The eighth leg of this supplement is not quite like the rest. It is a little shorter and crooked. No, actually, this last point is devoted to certain characteristics of octopamine which are not benefits. However, I feel that it is important for (potential) users to be aware of these things. Firstly, always make sure you purchase a product that is an HCl salt of octopamine.

In my research, I have discovered that the base form of octopamine is neither very stable nor very bioavailable. By forming an HCl salt, these problems are solved, making octopamine a very beneficial and cost-effective product. Secondly, users must be aware that octopamine does nothing for reducing appetite.

Some studies suggest that 60% or more of ephedra's beneficial effects on weight loss occur because of its ability to knock out a person's appetite. Unfortunately, octopamine will do nothing in this area. Octopamine's strengths for weight loss lie squarely with the fact that it increases metabolism, lipolysis and insulin secretion and decreases catabolism of proteinaceous tissues.

Octopamine is showing up in more and more supplements. Don't be afraid of the eight-legged dietary supplement... it's here to help you not hurt you!

Take the 20-day challenge! Looking for 10 people who want to lose weight with me by Dec 31. Let's start the New Year thinner and healthier!

Happy Holidays!

What a weigh to go!

I wonder how many people have had the same challenge when it comes to losing weight and keeping it off, as I have…..most likely a lot! I was always considered “skinny” in my younger days. I ate what I wanted, when I wanted and never gained an ounce. I was also a model, so I had to be skinny.

Then about 6 years ago, all of that changed. I still ate what I liked but it went to directly to my hips, thighs and butt! All that chocolate cake, chocolate bars, fries and too much of everything else that tasted great accumulated in those areas! I shot up from a size 4 to a size 14 within a year! My designer clothes, which cost me a fortune, went into hibernation and if I could have, I would’ve hid also.

So, my first of several attempts at losing weight began. I’d lose weight on one plan and then gain it back. I remember one plan where I only ate grapefruit for a few days and ended up passing out cold! You name it, I was on it but nothing really worked in the long run. I believe that is what’s called “yo-yo” dieting….actually, I felt like a “yo-yo” for allowing myself to be manipulated into falling for all that “miracle diet” programs.

Then, a short while ago, two dear friends shared their “no frills” weight loss program. It was safe, simple and healthy…without the need for exercise. Now, you know as well as

I do, that exercise is important and will contribute to weight loss but some times one does not feel like it, right?

The product helped me slim down with no side effects of hunger, pain, lack, fear, jitters, messy shakes, massive exercise and last but not least…….STARVATION! I eat what I want when I want. But here is the secret! This product keeps my body burning the fat and inhibits more fat storage and gives me energy. It is changing my body and my attitude in life. I have more self confidence and I wake up happy every day!

This product is amazing and it works! It will help you get back to feeling good about yourself and looking fit, fabulous and sexy! You deserve it! So, what have you got to lose? Let’s get you started on your forever weight loss success!

Here is your link to a new you!

To your health and happiness!

Some Appetite Supressing Foods

According to a recent study from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, certain fatty foods, like butter, send messages to the brain that actually tell the body to ignore appetite-suppressing signals from the two hormones -- leptin and insulin -- that are responsible for weight regulation. However, olive oil and grapeseed oil did just the opposite, allowing the "I'm satisfied" signal to do its job in the brain. Also, a separate study from the University of California, Irvine found that these good fats trigger production of a compound in the small intestine that curbs hunger pangs. "You can banish the butter and switch over to olive oil for everything from cooking to baking," advised Sass
A team of researchers at Johns Hopkins Weight Management Center discovered that study participants who ate meat-filled lunch entrees over the course of four days consumed 420 additional calories and 30 more fat grams per day than those who chose a mushroom-based meal. "Not only does this swap help you get in more veggies and slash calories without feeling hungrier, it also ups your intake of one of the key nutrients tied to weight control -- Vitamin D," said Cynthia Sass, R.D., co-author of "The Ultimate Diet Log." "In fact, trading three ounces of 90 percent lean ground turkey for a half-cup of chopped Portabella mushroom once a week, without making any other changes, would save you 7,280 calories a year."
According to a clinical trial conducted at the Canadian Center of Functional Medicine, all of the volunteers who ate a soluble fiber, like oatmeal (whole grain, not instant), reported a drop in appetite, as well as experienced weight loss. "Oatmeal is high in both soluble and insoluble fiber, so you'll be less inclined to be munching throughout the day," Brooking said. For a double-punch effect, she also suggested adding a soluble fiber fruit, like sliced apple, to this warm breakfast treat.
Swedish researchers have discovered that eating rye bread increases the feeling of being full and can lead to a lower-calorie intake throughout the day -- even up to eight hours -- compared to eating whole wheat bread. The study, published in "Nutrition Journal," also concluded that those who ate rye bread also had a lower insulin response. "Rye has a high level of fiber in two parts of the grain -- the bran or outer coating and the endosperm, the portion surrounding the seed that supplies it with nutrients," said Sass.
Research from the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Copenhagen found that dark chocolate offers more of a feeling of satiety than milk chocolate. "If registered dietitians had prescription pads, I'd be doling out regular doses of dark chocolate to all my clients," said Sass. "Not only is it loaded with antioxidants and natural substances that protect your heart, boost circulation and lower blood sugar, but research shows it can also help you feel more satisfied." Her advice is to melt a few pieces of dark chocolate squares and use as a dip for fresh fruit. "You'll save 200 calories compared to eating four chocolate dipped pretzels."

MORE SUPER INFO ON SOME OF THE INGREDIENTS IN XIMO!

Yohimbe has been one of the most popular supplements for men and women for years. When ingested, the body converts it to yohimbine and assimilates it into the bloodstream.

Its popularity has been ignited not only by it's claimed effects as an aphrodisiac, but also new research that shows it could be an herb with very effective antioxidant potential. Research shows it is a vasodilator, which means that it increases blood flow to the extremities and appendages. Not only does yohimbe help maintain a healthy heart, but yohimbe also has been shown to decrease fat synthesis in the body by increasing fatty acid mobilization. Do you know what this means! Yohimbe can help you get cut by giving you that "lift" in losing fat.

Quercetin.

By: Clayton South

What Is It?
And Where Does It Come From?

Quercetin is a plant pigment called a flavonoid. There are different kinds of flavonoids that, like quercetin, can be found in different fruits, flowers, and vegetables. The flavonoids are largely responsible for the colors of many of these plants.

For many years now this compound-found in apples, tea, red wine, and other foods-has been studied for possible health benefits. Quercetin offers a variety of potential therapeutic uses. It can work as an antioxidant by scavenging damaging particles in the body known as free radicals.

What Does It Do?
And What Scientific Studies Give Evidence To Support This?

Quercetin can help inhibit the production and release of histamine and other allergic/inflammatory substances. Histimine is a leading contributor to allergy symptoms such as a runny nose, watery eyes, hives, and swelling of soft tissue including the face and lips.

There have been studies done that suggest flavonoids such as quercetin may help reduce the risk of heart disease. Acting as an antioxidant it can protect against the damage caused by LDL ("bad") cholesterol.

There are many other potential therapeutic uses that quercetin may help prevent or treat. Some of these conditions include high cholesterol, eye disorders, arthritis, fibromyalgia, prostate health, canker sores, and cancer.

Quercetin can be found in many fruits and vegetables. The most primary dietary sources of quercetin are citrus fruits, apples, onions, parsley, and tea. Other fruits and vegetables that are high in flavonoids including quercetin are grapes, dark cherries, and dark berries, such as blueberries, blackberries, and bilberries.

Trimethylglycine

Very important for proper liver function, cellular replication, and detoxification reactions and its ability to help the liver process fats (lipids).

More info will be added as we receive it.

Want to know a secret?

Hello dear friends,

I trust everyone is doing well. I've had an exciting day….brought the little "fur-angel" Kaylee to the vet for her first shots this evening. Oh my…she screeched so loud, I am sure the whole block heard her! AND she only weighs 1.5 lbs! Look at this face….

So, now we will both relax a little. All the excitement and me, who passes out when I see a needle. Kaylee was crying out and I was almost passing out! The vet didn't know what to do so he called his assistant to hold on to Kaylee! LOL!

Oh well, another day in the life of Alexandra and Kaylee. If it's not one thing, its another. Yet things do work out for the best. I was so proud that I had lost a total of 14 lbs and then I gained 2 lbs back and it just wouldn't go away….but I did lose it finally in 2 days! YES, I am serious! I'm so happy….it is easy as 1-2-3, so if you'd like to know my "secret," I'll gladly share it with you.

Here is your link to a Fabulous New You!

I am going to call it a night. Sweet dreams.
